Spaulding Tract

The Spaulding Tract comprised 40 acres
that were probably purchased from James
McGee, reducing his acreage from 157 to
117. In 1876 the Tract was subdivided into
quarter-acre plots and offered for sale by the
Oakland Land Association, whose president
was Nathan W. Spaulding.
