The 1891 photo above shows the largely
undeveloped McGee Tract to the left of the
two roads running from the campus to the
Bay. The larger one on the right is
University Avenue; on the left, Addison
Street. St. Joseph’s is about halfway
towards the Bay just to the left of Addison
Street.
